Why We Stand Out

You don’t want a one-size-fits-all attorney or form agreement when your rights as a parent are at stake. You need your surrogacy, egg donation, or embryo donation agreement customized to your unique situation and needs. We provide that. Whether you live in the US or internationally, whether you are a heterosexual or same sex couple or a single parent, we have the experience, expertise and an exceptional network of national and international legal experts to ensure that your contract is enforceable and that you are the legal parent of the child.
Our services can start from the moment you walk out of your fertility doctor’s office: Our services include drafting, reviewing and negotiating surrogacy, egg donation, sperm donation, or embryo donation agreements and continue all the way to obtaining the pre-birth court order parentage and expediting the birth certificate and the child’s passport.

You get a Team, not just an Attorney

We are committed to educating, advocating and guiding every client on what they need, what to expect, how to spot red flags and more from day one of your journey, whether it be surrogacy, egg, embryo or sperm donation. More than just a law firm, we are a team of professionals who have been in your shoes where giving expert legal advice in an ever-changing field comes with an understanding of what you face.

Reachable and Responsive

If you can’t reach your attorney when you need them, even the best legal advice can’t help you. We pride ourselves on being reachable, responsive and completing the legal process in weeks, not months.

Customized Concierge Support

In addition to our standard legal services, we offer concierge level support options that can be tailored to your specific needs and journey. Whether you just need help finding and vetting agencies, guidance on what to look for in a surrogate for example or more comprehensive support to streamline the logistics and process, we are there.

Lesa Slaughter, Esq.

As an ambitious lawyer at the prestigious firm of Skadden, Arps, et. al, success seemed to be within my grasp in every aspect of my life. Yet, when it came to fulfilling the dream of carrying a child to term, my journey was marked by heartbreak and unanswered prayers.

No matter how much I focused, wished, and prayed, each pregnancy ended in miscarriage, leaving me and my partner reeling with grief and confusion. Desperate for answers, we turned to a fertility specialist, only to receive a devastating diagnosis: gestational surrogacy was our only hope for parenthood. This news hit us like a sledgehammer, shattering our hopes and dreams in an instant. Standing in the doctor’s office, tears streaming down our faces, we were handed a stack of papers containing information on surrogacy agencies. The weight of the unknown—financial implications, emotional tolls, and the duration of the process—seemed insurmountable as we faced the daunting prospect of navigating this uncharted territory.

It was in that moment of despair that I made the life-altering decision to leave behind the world of corporate law and forge a new path—one rooted in compassion and advocacy. In 2009, fueled by my own experience with gestational surrogacy, I founded my own practice, specializing in gestational surrogacy, as well as matters involving egg, sperm, and embryo donation.

Creating a family through surrogacy is a journey fraught with fear, uncertainty, and financial strain. I know firsthand the devastation that comes with realizing you can’t carry a child yourself. Yet, through my own struggles, I’ve learned that knowledge is power—a belief that has driven me to empower others with the information and resources they need to navigate their own journeys with confidence and clarity.

In my eyes, the road to parenthood through surrogacy may be challenging, but it is also a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the boundless capacity for love. Through my practice, I strive to champion the rights of intended parents and surrogates alike, ensuring that every individual and family has the opportunity to realize their dreams of parenthood, no matter the obstacles they may face along the way.

My journey from corporate law to compassionate advocacy has been one of profound transformation, fueled by empathy, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to helping others navigate the highs and lows of their own paths to parenthood. As I stand alongside my clients, guiding them through the complexities of surrogacy, I am reminded of the profound impact that one person’s journey can have on the lives of others.
